Lake Fuschl Race

The round the lake race is a 12 kilometre-long race that leads the athletes along the lovely lake-side path that circumnavigates Lake Fuschl. The race starts in the centre of the village, just a couple of minutes' walk away from Ebner's Waldhof. Around the lake spectators line the route encouraging hobby and professional runners to do their best.

In addition to the main Lake Fuschl Race the children's race has become an important part of this traditional race day. The start and finishing line for the kids and teenagers is, as with the main race, the village square in Fuschl am See.

The Race Combi

The day before the Lake Fuschl Race is reserved for the Lake Fuschl Crossing where participants swim the entire length of the lake. If you want to be crowned Fuschlsee Man or Fuschlsee Woman, you have to take part in both races. The person with the best combined results from both races wins the Race Combi. 

Whether you are a participant of spectator: Ebner's Waldhof by the Lake lies idyllically just a couple of metres from the Lake Fuschl where all the racing action happens. Experience this great these great sporting events live on your holiday by the lake!
